In early June, the Casa Pacifica Angels Wine and Food Festival was held
in Camarillo, to resounding success. Event coordinators were
positively giddy about the turnout and the funds generated for Casa
Pacifica, a crisis care and residential treatment facility for abused,
neglected, or at-risk children located in Camarillo.
Nearly 4,000 guests attended the 2009 event, and it raised $220,000 for
the organization. That's their biggest fundraising event
ever. They send their heartfelt thanks. I hope my words had
a little bit to do with the success of the festival. If you read
about it on this site, then they did. My heartfelt thanks go out
to you, too. I hope you are looking forward to next year's
festival.
